Inter-Religious Meeting

Hello,

Muslims all over the world are now feared and people are afraid to have friendship with them. I must confess my fears too. Today marked a turning point here in Kericho. We Christians and Muslims greeted each other and had sodas together as we visited.

I must admit this is my first time doing this here in Kericho, Kenya. In other places that I have visited like Dubai and Qatar, it was not hard to mingle as there are Muslims everywhere.

During our meetings today my mind has been focused on how to win a Muslim to Christianity. I've been remembering this week too what I have been reading and re-learning new terms in the Muslim world. In particular, I've been re-learning about the use of "Allah" (God) and what it means to a Muslim. I have been reading this week also that some churches in Malaysia were torched down because they used the term Allah, and I later realised that now some Arab Christians are using the term Allah al-Ab, God the Father, to differentiate from Muslim use of the word "Allah" and make it clear that they are taking about the Christian God.

My prayer is for Muslims to change and become Christians. This step will start with relationship building which I hope will bring them to Christianity and the loving hand of God. I challenge you to take a step. Befriend a Muslim and teach them about Jesus our Lord.

God Bless
