Thank you so much for following our updates from here in Turkana country in northern Kenya where we are bringing much needed food relief to the people.

There are many people gathered for the food distribution. There are lots of children in the group.
I am so glad that you are praying for us.
Tomorrow will be our last day to visit this place and distribute the food before returning home.

I'm holding one of the stools that Turkana men carry. They use it to sit on or to put their head on when they go to sleep.
Tonight it is so hot here that I am contemplating whether to sleep inside or
outside the house where I am staying.
Some of our team members who are mostly university students have opted to sleep in the open. Thank God there is a moon to show the way.
Otherwise enjoy the pics and continue to pray for our work and our journey.

This is the dirty water that the Turkana people have to drink. We have brought them some water but they really need good clean water. How wonderful it would be if they had a proper well.
You can help raise awareness of the Missions of Hope by using the share buttons at the bottom of this post or any other post. Thank you!

Just wonderful work that you and the team are doing there in Turkana country. I'm sure the people are so happy! It is sad about the dirty water. Thank you for taking clean water to these people. I will continue praying they can get continuous, clean water. They need it so much.

I'm a follower of Penny's blog, and very much admire the work that you do Jonah, and just wanted to stop by to tell you so. The photos you post really help to understand the difficulties you are working under.

Yes, these people need our help. God bless Your work. I'm hope that they will know Him during that action.
ReplyDeleteHi, I am here from Penny's blog and want to say "God bless you!" for your work among those dear desperate ones. You are doing this for "the least of these" and for God Himself. I pray each morning for the desperate people in the Horn of Africa and those who are helping them, like you. Surely He is pleased with your ministry. May He bless and sustain you.
