Evangelizing the Youth in Bomet, Kenya

Hello,

This morning we travelled to a place very near to Bomet to do a sports crusade. 

We had earlier prepared for soccer balls (courtesy of our friend from Uganda) and trophies from far and wide.

We planned the event for about 2 months and we are glad to see a big, big success in this project. 

Tonight we are having a 'cinema' and tomorrow morning we will have church. Then later in the afternoon, we will have the finals of the soccer team and volleyball games. 

This event drew many young people who would rather have been spending their weekends in not so productive ways if we did not host a sports event. This ministry drew close to a thousand young people who turned up. What a blessing!

Continue to pray for us as we expect miracles; especially salvation to those who are not already saved.

Enjoying Sports

Sports is here to be enjoyed by those who are able to participate.

Our time today with Christian colleges was great. We played our games very late into the evening. It was past 7:00 p.m. when we finally finished.

We enjoyed every part of it.

The schools which participated in the games included: Kabarak University, PACC, NGST, and Moffat.

With shoes or without shoes, we all enjoyed the games.
