School Visit

Hello,
We visited several schools today and interacted with students. We learned about their fears and the challenges they have in school.
We visited primary school and the boys only school.

We realize that the students are working really hard and we are hoping that the they will pass in their education.
Please continue to pray for them as they prepare for their final exams coming in the few months.
I love these students. they are such a blessing group.

Enjoy the pictures.

Friends are Blessed with Children

My friend Ken and his wife have been blessed with twins after waiting for close to 5 years. What a gift since we had prayer with them last November.

I was so excited to visit with them while I was in Bomet, Kenya recently. His wife wife will be full term in one month. It is so exciting for me to see how God blesses His own.

We had training for the youth today. It was quite challenging as we had older folks leading the youth who are so young and educated as compared to them.

Pray that this group will come along and be of help to the dear ones they lead.

Have a great day.
God bless

A Pilot Friend Takes a Wife

Hello,

We had a great day today. There was a wedding of a friend of mine named Joshua. He is a pilot. Then we also spent time with the youths at the Chagaik Arboretum. We really had a great day; a full day. One of encouragement and love for each other.

We had a small distraction of rain but all ended fine. The cake was interesting with a picture of a plane on it. What a great surprise from Joshua. Though of course I am happy for my friend, I miss spending time with him even now.

Otherwise I wish him and his wife a happy family.
Enjoy the pics.

Widows & Orphans in Kericho

We had a great visit to the widows in Kericho, Kenya. We shared with them foodstuffs and LOVE. It was the greatest time ever. I really loved it.

We also visited with orphan children. This was the greatest time of our trip. The orphans are in great need. Please pray for them as they have not enough food, and lack shoes and sporting clothes, etc.

Enjoy the pictures of our visit and please do leave a comment. I'd love to hear from you.

Visit to Momul Tea Factory

Hello,

We visited Momul Tea Factory. We enjoyed ourselves and we really learned a lot.

We found out that tea quality is a huge issue and so testing of the tea is important.

Momul Tea Factory has won many awards for it's high quality tea: The Green Alliance and the ISO certification. See here for more information

http://www.ktdateas.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=93&Itemid=89

We really enjoyed our tea experience. One fact that really stood out for us was learning that Kenya exports 95% of all the tea we produce and only 5% is what we consume.

Enjoy

Widows of Ainamoi

We had a great time with the widows of Ainamoi today.

They go through a multiplicity of problems associated with widowhood and they were able to share their stories with us.

Please continue to pray for their needs, which are of course are many. Pray that their kids are able to go to high school, and can proceed to go to college.

It is our prayer that all these kids are able to move forth and continue with life.

We had also a chance to visit Gatherine's house (see the last two photos) who was desperately in need. One of her sons is sick, and has dropped out of school.

Continue to pray for all these women and the challenges they face.

God Bless

Sunday Service

Hello,

We had a great service here in Kericho, Kenya.

We witnessed many new people coming to know Christ and the church had good attendance.

Please continue to pray for church growth in this area and for men to know Christ more.

After the service, we visited a family who had a good lawn and a great house. The host of the house was very welcoming to the guests who go to this church often.

The owner of the house also has a farm and so we had a great visit to his farm and saw the cattle, bananas and tea. It was so much fun.

Enjoy the pictures

Ministering to School Children with Friends From USA

Hello

We had a great time yesterday with visits to two schools.
All these schools are so good that a child would want to stay there forever.

We had to walk almost a mile to reach one of the primary schools. It was quite a challenge, as the road is not passable.

We took our lunch on the road ...near the school, and it was so much fun.

Otherwise enjoy the pictures, continue to pray for the needs here..especially the SHOES for the dear ones here.

God bless

Shoes, Shoes

Hello,

I have friends from the United States who are visiting Africa for the first time (two of them), and we are visiting orphanages and schools.

One of the biggest challenge so far is the issue of shoes. Most of the students in the schools we are visiting have no shoes, and have never seen a computer. This really puzzles me. We are still far away from getting into the 21st century here in Kenya.

Any one reading this, please pray about this great needs: SHOES SHOES

Have a great day.
God bless
