So this is what the Sovereign LORD says:
"See, I lay a stone in Zion, a tested stone,
a precious cornerstone for a sure foundation;
the one who trusts will never be dismayed.

Hello friends, The church building that was started in 1957 finally has a roof on it! Praise God.
The pioneers of this church are glad to see the fruits of their labour. The church building was started by just six people and we were so glad to see them with us.Rev. Nathaniel arap Korir, who studied in the USA in the early 1960's saw it fit to come home and start this church. He really loves his people and came to minister with us. He was also the Assistant Bishop and he established more churches, too. This church is exceptional because it is Rev. Nathaniel's home church and he worships there each week. His daughter who is a high school principal was also present at the official opening. She marvelled at the beauty of the church and shed some tears in her joy.

(Photo above: Rev. Nathaniels' daughter is the middle one of the 3 ladies standing/talking).The guest of honor was the former President of Kenya, His Excellency Daniel arap Moi and the church was dedicated by the Bishop Dr. Joseph Rono.
Today we didn't have rains as usual and it made the ceremony go well. The new church building is located just across the road from the second largest tea plantation in the world, Finlay Tea company and Unilever tea.
Enjoy the pictures. There are more in the slideshow.

It's so wonderful that the people now have a proper church sanctuary to worship in. God will bless their faithfulness.
